Lagging with apps Disney+ and amazon prime

After a while watching either Amazon prime or Disney+ the blue circle appears and the programme freezes. It gradually gets more frequent as I continue to watch.  It is only the apps that have been behaving like this.  I've logged out and done apps updates.
