Internet down in Bromley

My internet suddenly dropped off  around 2am today and then I had real trouble trying to reconnect Sky Q box and minibox plus smart TV. Had to reconnect everything  individually - so annoying. Was this linked to the swap of BBC HD channels that also happened 22/23 Feb?

@LeeMo Just sounds to me like the Sky box(s) have gone into deep sleep, or Eco mode.

As far as BBC changing channel numbers, not quite sure how that would impact a broadband connection as they're two entirely seperate things.

Anything more helpful to add @TimmyBGood ? I see there were increased reports of outage in Bromley area.

Quite possibly, but as @JPR007 indicates that's pretty unlikely to be a result of television changes.  The only possible link I can imagine is if such a change forced a reboot of television hardwire.
