Frequently experiencing slow or no internet. Internet light on sky hub is currently green but turns red when experiencing connection problems.
previously had similar issues twice in the past 5 years and an engineer was sent out and discovered squirrels had been chewing the phone cable outside! Suspect similar issues again. Please advise

I am experiencing intermittent slow internet and complete drop outs (red internet light on router). No idea if this is an equipment fault or the pesky squirrels have been nibbling on the phone cable outside which is a problem i've had before.
any help appreciated!
