Internet Dropping constantly last 3 weeks
Hi all,
Over the last 3 weeks i've noticed small drop offs in connection and its most evident on calls where it freezes and sometimes takes a while to reconnect.
What are the steps I need to troubleshoot this? I'd like to try and pinpoint it before just upping and moving supplier.

Re: Internet Dropping constantly last 3 weeks
@GNORMAN your hub has been conyimously connected for the last 53days so a simple reboot maybe in order by unplugging the hub for a few minutes. Any electronic device can benefit from a reboot after running for so long to clear memory errors etc.
Ping spikes of the type your trace show are often caused by packet loss the most likely issue would be with the Wifi signal in your home rather than elsewhere in the link. It is worth setting up,a Broadband Quality Monitor from this site https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality which tests the connection between the server and your hub if thst is clear then it is an issue in your home network. Another possible cause could simply be contention as with a 40Mb/s connection you dont have a lot of bandwidth to share if there are multiple users the BQM should show if thst is an issue.
