Intermittent WiFi with Sky Broadband and Sky router all of a sudden.

Hi folks,
I need some help please, but first an explanation...
The Kit: I've Sky Full Fibre Gigafast with a sky Max Router, a SkyQ box and a Sky Mini box. More recently, I've also got a Sky WiFi booster. I've also a PC connected via a Cat5 directly to the router - This has never lost network connectivity so the broadband itself is stable.
The History: The booster was set up yesterday as after around 7 years on various Sky Broadband solutions, with the last year or two on this particular package, the WiFi became terribly intermittant.
My Sky App: Always reports everything as 'Good' even when it reported none of my WiFi devices could be detected by it! so I don't trust it's feedback.
The Original Problem: The WiFi started dropping very frequently throught the day last week and continues to be  a  problem.
The Sky Engineer: Yesterday a Sky engineer came and replaced the router (for the same model), the Sky mini box and installed the WiFi Booster. He did not change the Sky Q box.

The Wifi Details: With the new kit I chose to keep the same SSID as it's original as well as changing the password back to their original, as there can be as many as 15-20 devices connecting via WiFi. Having said that, there is rarely more than 10 on a day to day basis. WiFi is at WPA2 level for maximum compatibility.

The Layout: The router and the booster are in my upstairs office. Neither are near anything that would interfere with the signal and cannot be moved out of the office for reasons I won't go into here. The sky Q is diagnonally opposite this room and is downstairs. The Sky Mini is one room away from the office on the same floor. I have a PC in the office that is wired to the router.

The Resets: Non Sky devices, like laptops and phones were made to forget the old network, re-booted and re-connected to the Wifi.
Where we are now:  The Sky devices now maintain their WiFi connection, so that's an improvement, but other devices, like phones, laptops etc (all modern and updated) continue to drop WiFi multiple times a day, every day for varying periods of time.

My Theory:  I suspect a neighbour has some new kit that occasionally overpowers the channels that I'm using and my router changesthe frequencies, causing an issue (I don't know, I'm guessing). If this is the case, then I'm stuck as these Sky routers choose thier own channels with no manual control.

I'm at a loss as to where to go or what to do next to resolve this issue. Advice / help greatly appreciatted.

@SteveHamer the Sky engineer appears to have optimised the Sky Q boxes connection but that will not have helped any other devices. While inteference from neighbour's is possible tge Sky Max hub should deal with that automatically but more likely is interference from the Sky Q boxes each of which acts as a WiFi source. Rebooting tge hub will force it to find the least congested channel

However I suspect given the position of the hub which is far from ideal you simply do not have enough signal downstairs. You can test thst theory by installing a WiFi analyzer app on an Android phone or windows laptop and checking the signal strength for the Sky Max hub in the rooms (ignore the Sky Q SSID you cannot connect to that ) To have a reliable connection you need a signal around -60dBm or higher signals lower than -70dBm are insufficent (note tge minus sign!).

Given your set up you need a pod booster which can come as part of the Sky WiFi Max package which should help installed in the stairwell or hall assuming your home doesnt have very solid brick or stone internal walls.

Thanks for the reply but I can be two feet from both the hub and the booster with my phone or any laptop, and they'll loose WiFi.

Its infuriating.
