I have inherited an old sky input port box and need to remove it .

@PalmerLE12  Can you clarify what you mean by "input port box"?

 

Could you post a picture of this device?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thank you so much for replying. I just moved the obstruction and see it says Openreach, but apparently the previous occupant had Sky.

 I also have this obsolete equipment in another room where Virgin was enabled and outside the remains of that connection.

I realise it's not a Sky issue but am I ok to just remove all of this stuff?

Openreach is the national network provider, while Virgin is a competing network owner.  Sky as an ISP uses the Openreach network.

 

You can choose to remove Virgin boxes: strictly speaking Openreach infrastructure should be left in place.
