I’ve been offered free right to cancel. I want the WiFi booster for free instead

So after the engineer who came out to run tests and upgrade my wall coonection sadly the speeds have still been dropping. I have been offered full right to cancel my package but I would rather be given the WiFi booster for free instead of £7 extra a month. Can this be done?

P.S i wouldn't even consider a booster on that speed . You would lose too much by the time its relayed from the booster box

Could you post your hub stats

Such an exit from a contract is usually given if theres an external fault that can't be fixed.  A booster will not help with that

Oh right ok well that's sad but now I know. I will remain with them as it's still the best speeds offered to me for my area. The engineer came out because I was running and posting the checks, I was told they have done everything they can. Just have to wait and get signatures for a fibre pole

Still be good to see the stats 👍

And  the openreach database below should tell you the speed you should be getting . If you enter you full postal address below and post the table after removing your address from the image

Ok it looks like you are on a good line without any external drops in the last 107 hour and the speed tallies with what you should be getting .  So its probably related to the distance to your local cabinet or openreach have dropped their estimated speed bebause of an unknown fault. Looks like go full throttle on signatures and lobby mp's is the way to go
