I need an engineer to come to my home to disconnect the redundant wire connected to the telegraph po

I need the external wire removing from my property. It's the one connected to the telegraph pole.

@Janet+Glenna+Broo  Thats not something Sky or Openreach who own the network will do unless it's a health & safety issue.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

It's not currently economically viable to recover individual lengths of phone wiring even where these have been rendered redundant by the arrival of FTTP: there just isn't enough weight of copper in the four very thin strands of a domestic drop-cable to be worth it.
