@david1104

There's information about that incentive scheme here:

https://www.sky.com/refer-a-friend

For you and your friend to receive the reward, your friend must have joined using the unique referral link you’ve sent them directly and have paid their first bill. If your friend has bought Sky Live, Sky Glass, Sky Broadband or Sky Stream and their services have been installed or they’ve activated their Sky Mobile account and SIM, you’ll both receive your reward two weeks after your friend's 31 day cooling off period

@david1104  Yes your friend makes all the payments, you yourself don't pay anything

@david1104

Depending on what's been ordered, Sky may well require an up-front payment from the person placing the order.  There's also a requirement that the first billing period has passed and the first bill paid.

You will receive your reward via email after your friend's services are installed or Sky Mobile account and SIM is activated, they have paid their first bill and two weeks have gone past after the cooling off period

Re: I'm something out for a friend

So my friend would not have to make a upfront payment

@david1104  As @TimmyBGood indicates it depends on what your friend orders

Using a refer-a-friend link doesn't mean the normal terms and conditions don't apply.

It's a standard order, including credit checks and up-front costs where applicable, with an incentive reward after completion, activation and first bill payment.
