Since I had Fibre fitted over two weeks ago my Internet has been appalling. I have to sign out of it to make video calls on WhatsApp or FaceTime and work on 4G - I had to give myself more data so I could chat to my friends when before or normal Broadband I never had any issues. I read that you have to allow it two weeks to embed however today I've been working at home and the quality of my zoom calls was so bad on my laptop. I had to come off completely and use my (work) mobile phone again on 4G.
I'm not very impressed with the way that the wiring has been put into my house. There is a big blob of silicon and no proper casing which I would've expected for wiring externally. It's a bit of an eyesore at the very front of my house. I'm not entirely convinced my television is running any quicker in fact I think it's slower to get use applications - So all in all, I'm very unimpressed with something that was supposed to be an improvement! I keep doing checks and it keeps telling me everything is okay, but it's like the signal drops out every 30 seconds or so!

@Joeyfoff you can complain about the quality of the install as it should be reasonably neat and the hole used to carry the fibre pigtail to the ONT should be sealed with a plastic fitment. Initially talk to Sky but having a few photos before calling might help.
Full fibre does increase bandwidth but wont necessarily speed up applications or web pages loading as that depends on the server. The issues in your home sounds like poor wifi which again having faster broadband wont necessarily improve. Factors like a change in location of the hub can impact speeds. As can if you have Sky Q boxes as the new whit Sky Max hubs are not compatablecwith the older wifi meschsystem Sky Q provided so you lose the wifi hotspots. If that applies talk to Sky
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
