All sorted thanks people, I didn't realise when you click on disable WiFi, it gives you the option to either switch of 2.4 or 5 or both.

Through the Sky app I can get as far as disable the 2 and 5GHz toggles butwhen I disable the 5GHZ, it only stays disabled for a few seconds then reverts back to both. I just want it off temporarily to connect smart plugs but it doesn't give me time. Any suggestions please?

No, definitely no save button. I'm trying on my iPad. I'll check the laptop and see if that has.

@Henpecked I had the same issue. I went into wifi security in the app and turned it down to WAP2 which it says helps older devices connect.
I then tried to reconnect a minute later and my device would connect. Hope it helps.

If you want to log into your web portal the password is the same as your default WiFi password.

I have just done this via my TV through my Sky Q Box...
Go to the Home Page, then scroll down to Settings, do not press Select but press 001 then press the Select button. Then navigate to Network and press Select. Then you will be presented with a menu to turn one off. Bosh!

Note that doesn't turn off anything being broadcast by the router (Hub)
It only affects the WiFi on the Q box itself.
