High latency in Valorant

I am writing to report ongoing packet loss and high latency issues that are severely impacting my ability to play VALORANT, an online game.

Summary of Issue:

  • Affected Service: VALORANT game servers
  • IP Addresses: 75.2.66.166 and 99.83.136.104
  • Symptoms: High latency and packet loss, resulting in a poor gaming experience

Evidence: Attached to this email are multiple PingPlotter screenshots that show significant packet loss and latency spikes occurring before the packets reach the game servers.

Steps Taken: To resolve this issue, I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps as recommended by RIOT Games Player Support:

  1. Switched from WiFi to a wired connection
  2. Disabled IPv6
  3. Switched to public DNS (Google and Cloudflare)
  4. Disabled Teredo Tunneling interface
  5. Released/renewed IP and flushed DNS
  6. Updated network adapter drivers
  7. Power cycled my router and modem

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. According to RIOT Games Player Support, the problem seems to be with the route the data packets take through your network to reach their servers.

Request: I kindly request that you investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to resolve it. Specifically, I would like you to:

  • Investigate the routing paths and reroute my connection to avoid the problematic nodes
  • Check for any physical line or equipment issues that could be causing the packet loss and high latency

Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated, as these issues are significantly impacting my ability to use the service as intended. Please let me know if you require any further information or if there are additional steps I can take from my end.
