Have just received a new router Max and there is poor signal,.

To pick up WiFi I need to be within 3 meters of the new router, this includes a Sky booster. 
I had no issue with the old router and this router is in the same location. My main tv is 4 meters from the router and  couldn't pick it up.

if I move the sky boost so it connects to sky router the tv picks that up from 9 meters.
