Hello,
We have a new Sky Router 4. I am trying to log in to turn the Wifi off. Previuosly you just typed in username: admin then password : sky
that doesn't work now. I have a sticker for the new router with the Wifi name and password. The same that is written on the back off the route. That doesn' work either can anyone help?
Thanks

Re: Getting into https://192.168.0.1 to turn off Wifi
The combination should be admin as the user name and the WiFi key as the password

@WifiHelpPlease You would need to look carefully at the Password, letters and numbers can easily get mixed up....

Re: Getting into https://192.168.0.1 to turn off Wifi
@WifiHelpPlease use the link below, but the user name is admin not as your last post, also http rather than https would be better to local on your network, and by Ethernet connection rather than wireless! admin/sky stopped with the sky Q hub, everything later is the wireless wifi password as the admin to the hub UNLESS you have actually changed the admin password on that hub, which is unlikely as you said it's new and you are just starting out with it!

Helli Jim I am thanks for your help. 1 more thing : I can't actually see a button or toggle to turn the wifi off, just a lot of technical stuff under 2.4 and 5GHZ

Re: Getting into https://192.168.0.1 to turn off Wifi
@WifiHelpPlease It's Enable WiFi Access Point, uncheck the tick for both the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz bands if you are doing both, then Apply at the end off it all, you may just have to do one at a time!

I have done it all. Thanks Jim for all you help. Everything is sorted for now. If only you could sort out Skys apalling telephone customer services I would nominate you for a medal.

Re: Getting into https://192.168.0.1 to turn off Wifi
@WifiHelpPlease Easy things get done, the impossible takes a long time to do, that one falls into the 2nd category but patience and not fooling with the BOT generally get's you through and time cannot be a factor it's hold on as long as you can and hope that they pick up and don't disconnect you!
Glad you got it all done, write the password down big letters and numbers, it's not made to be easy......
