Full fibre 150

Download and upload speeds are excellent when in the room with the router, but the room I use most speeds are 30Mbps and 25Mbps, they were 56Mbps and 16Mbps before fibre with the same router but the router was closer.  I can't move the router as the fibre connection is further away

@CLARE+CLARKE You can move the sky hub wherever you need it to be, just because the ONT was placed at a location that was suitable for the Fibre wire connection that is where it needs to be.

The Ethernet cable that joins the Hub to the ONT can be longer and the hub positioned where required, the difficulty is what to do with and the route that the cable may have to take, trying to hide it if you do not wish to see it etc. You may be lucky and a well position booster may help but it's a try and see situation.

Re: Full fibre 150

Can't move it as it's a big house and has solid walls, so cabling is not practical

@CLARE+CLARKE You could try powerline combined wireless/wired connection, a wireless wi-fi booster, or even possible a mesh unit to see what would help, few choices to consider.

Re: Full fibre 150

Power line doesn't work, easier to return to non fibre broadband
