Flashing Green light not connecting to internet

Been with Sky Broadband for 10/11 days now. Already regretting it. Sky broadband box slowly flashing green. Devices and sky stream box say can't connect to internet etc. but sky app tells me there's nothing wrong with the devices when there clearly is. I've done the usual turn it off leave it go back to it. But nothing works. Paying for services I'm not getting!!

Re: Flashing Green light not connecting to internet

@HarryL98 See the link's below and if anything else applies post back. The speed and connection type you have, is it all new ie was done as part off the sky move, and if not was everything running fine with the connection that you have with the other service provider?

This link below provides information about the coloured lights on the various hubs that can help to see what is going on! If the system is also Full Fibre then the lights on the OR/CF ONT also require to be looked at!

Already known is you have and went sky Max as your option wifi6 hub, so what did you have before?

Re: Flashing Green light not connecting to internet

All lights on openreach box are green. Never had an issue once with virgin media.

with virgin I had the full fibre Gigi box.

I've even kept a note of how many times it has done it today.

Came back on at about 8:20 this morning. Went off again back to slowpulsating green light. Came back on around 12. Went off again 15:15. Then came back on again at about 15:30. Once again at 17:15 the internet has gone agin and th hub is back to a slow pulsating green light.

Re: Flashing Green light not connecting to internet

@HarryL98 It's taking a while to work out what you have got for all the Equipment, now it looks like you are on a FF Full Fibre connection with the white sky Max hub. ONT Power and Pon both solid Green, the Lan light flashes with data back and forth, so just now with no connection is it flashing slowly?

The sky max hub is pulsing slow Green light means connected and just waiting for a internet data connection then to go White, is this all correct so far?

Re: Flashing Green light not connecting to internet

@JimM1  I have the FF Sky Max Hub White. With openreach ONT. The LAN, Power & PON are all solid green lights.

The sky max hub itself slowly flashes a green light. Which indicates I believe it's authenticating or something like that. However this all it does now at this moment in time.

Sky stream box tells me it can't connect to internet so am unable to watch tv through sky stream box and unable to use any of my devices as it state no internet.

The sky max hub has gone white a few times today meaning I've been able to watch the tv/ use internet but this has been limited as it the goes back to a slow flashing green light

Re: Flashing Green light not connecting to internet

@HarryL98 When your next Green slow flash have a check with this link, you will have to do it over mobile data though so hope you are in an area connection wise! If you get a chance can you look at the ONT for the Lan occasional flash instead off a solid Green when your sky Hub is waiting to connect!.

Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to call Sky to report it. Dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline (if it’s still working).
