Faulty wifi extender device

I changed to Sky Broadband last Feb, from BT. My house is large enough to need an extension device in the central hallway between the modem location and the other side of the house. Since then, although it works downstairs,  I have never been able to get a WiFi connection upstairs. My son in law, who is a computer technician, tells me that when he inspected the extension box, it  simply isn't working, even though the green light is on. He says I just need a replacement.

Secondly, I've had a few problems with my TV, which refused to access anything other than regular channels yesterday and when checking up with the System button, told me (on both my TV sets) that I had a disk malfunction and advised to contact you.   So here I am, doing just that and requesting help.

Hi @Mjma

For that kind of issue you would be best to call Sky as they can provide replacement boosters

And note that it's best to keep television and broadband issues separated.
