Full Fibre Broadband and Care Alarms

Hello,

I have been refused full fibre broadband several times due to the presence of a care alarm in our house. even though the alarm company has assured us that there is no reason whatsoever for refusal.

I understood that Openreach were trialling a system where full fibre broadband could be installed and checks made to confirm the suitable operation of the care alarm.

What was the outcome of this trial and when is this system to be rolled out proper.

Regards, Robbie Pears.

Re: Full Fibre Broadband and Care Alarms

The process has changed last week so lines with care alarms can now have orders placed, openreach will now check if the alarm is working and compatible before and after installation rather than simply cancelling

if the alarm is compatible then openreach will continue with the order
