External ONT

Internet cut out last night. Internal ONT showing LOS. All wires connected correctly inside. But notice wire lose on outside ONT, not sure if it's the issue or always been like that. It's not something I've paid much attention to before. Please can anyone advise. Thanks

The external box is called the Customer Service Point (CSP)  If that apparently parted cable has two or four non-metallic cores (don't touch them) and is marked with a thin yellow stripe then it's the fibre optic drop cable and has presumably been yanked hard enough to snap them at the point the  sheathing ends.

You'll need to log the issue with Sky for repair by Openreach.

Re: External ONT

Yes that sounds like the wire. Thank you for your response. Have no clue how it could have been yanked out we get foxes and cats in the garden but that's about it. Booked for a repair now though.
