Eufy video doorbell

This is my last ditch attempt to get a Eufy doorbell connected to our WiFi. OMG I have wasted so much time with this now!

So I have done absolutely everything suggested on here and also by Eufy customer service (who have been very good) to no avail. I have split the 5ghz and 2.4ghz and given them separate names. I have disabled the firewall both incoming and outgoing. I have disabled all security and yet here I am still. Eufy have kindly sent a replacement, just in case the original is faulty. However the replacement is also not connecting. Before admit defeat and sending both back I thought I would try here as this is where I armed myself with the knowledge to get it connected (to no avail). I would like this to get up and running if possible. Any suggestions?

Re: Eufy video doorbell

@Callumsmum If you have a sky Max hub then set it to WPA2-PSK operation! and connect on the 2.4Ghz band with the 5Ghz disabled until it is connected!

Re: Eufy video doorbell

@Callumsmum No you mean you have the black SR203 Sky Broadband Hub, take a look at the link picture below ans say if that is what you see! Take a look at the Eufy doorbell you have, see if there is a specific model, type etc and say what you see and post!

Re: Eufy video doorbell

Hello

We have the SkyQ hub.

My  friend has managed to get his Virgin BB to connect to the doorbell so it is a problem with our router. I'm totally stumped!

The doorbell is Eufy E340

Thanks for any help on this.

Re: Eufy video doorbell

@Callumsmum First thing the sky Q hub is defunct Dec2025 so use the link and get it replaced. E340 is a 2.4Ghz only device,

Re: Eufy video doorbell

Hi Jim

Thank you for this. The link to the hub upgrade is not working. We are due to swap to fibre tomorrow and they have not sent a new hub even for that!  All they sent for the fibre upgrade was an Ethernet cable.

I can't believe we can't get this doorbell connected.  Do you think a new hub would resolve the issue?

Thanks, Julie

Re: Eufy video doorbell

@Callumsmum Post 4 has the hub's link if you have a sky Q hub your not doing Fibre upgrade tomorrow.

Link is fine, just clicked and launched it no problem! Do you know how to use the PM just sent you one.

Not sure that would do anything, never used that doorbell, but have zero problems with my Ring doorbell or the Ring cameras!

Re: Eufy video doorbell

Yeah I can imagine. I will call them tomorrow to request an upgraded router.

Re: Eufy video doorbell

@Callumsmum For fibre and voice you require the Sky Broadband Hub SR203, that;s the model to get, not the sky Max you do not want that one!

@Callumsmum

Perhaps worth knowing the ER115 Q Hub can actually support FTTP broadband, but not Sky Talk Internet Calls.

Re: Eufy video doorbell

@TimmyBGood Aware so quicker to get the Fibre installed, sky to send a SR203 and sort out any voice as that takes a few day's anyway!

Assume the ER110 is also capable fttp?
