My son keeps getting kicked from all his fifa games on PlayStation network, the ps5 is connected by a Ethernet cable. It keeps saying the cable is disconnected, tried a different port on the hub still happening. The hub is in living room and ps5 is in loft bedroom.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Toby1973 ethernt cables can break especially if forced around to tight a bend one strand of the 8 broken is enough to cause the issue. Also check the physical lock on each plug has not broken off as then the plug can easily slip out of the socket.

Will the quality of the cables make a difference? It's been working fine for over 12 months only started recently, my other son has the same sort of cable Giotto his desktop pc, no issues

Thx all for responding, I've been on phone to sky for over 1 hr again today same problem as last week, can't connect to PlayStation network & random websites through my hub, when hun disconnected and I use mobile data there's no problem, the websites are random for example, eBay, very. Tried resetting everything, leaving switched of, check broadband shield. No solution.

Perhaps its the ethernet port on the PS5?
