Engineer unresolved

We had an engineer visit this morning as we reported internet connection problems.

He carried out tests and "reset" the line which showed a download speed of 34mbps on his openreach test, but when we both tested on independent apps the speed coming out of the router was only 16mbps. Does this suggest there is a problem with the router as it's only putting out 50% of what's coming down the line? We do pay for super fast broadband!

Re: Engineer unresolved

No, it suggests your using WiFi on a mobile device which will be massively slower then plugging in the ethernet cable and speed testing on a pc or laptop.
