Does anyone have problems with slow Safari?

Safari can be very slow to load pages on my Sky Broadband. When I go to Google or Chrome it is way faster. It is true on multiple devices. Does anyone else see this? I don't know if Sky has any application assurance running in their network but it is predictable and common to get way faster loading on browsers other than Safari

Agreed! I see this after getting Sky Broadband. Slow loading is not on all websites but many, with no detectable pattern. At my previous flat, Hyperoptic was not showing this defect..

@AGB59  If you have iCloud Private Relay switched on, try switching it off. It can slow Safari down.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Dr+DJ go into the settings app on your device  find  Safari and the option is there - private relay is good for privacy butvcan slowcthings down.

Re: Does anyone have problems with slow Safari?

@Dr+DJ  It’s part of the iCloud settings.

On an iPhone, tap on your Apple ID , which is the first item at the top of the settings page, iCloud settings should be the 5th item on the page, tap on it and if you have access to private relay it should be the 1st item under the heading iCloud+.

I think the layout is similar on a MAC, once you’ve opened the settings app.
