Do I need an engineer - ex virgin customer

My flat had Virgin Broadband.  I have ordered Sky.  Do I really need an engineer or should I just be able to plug in and go.  Thanks

Like any other Openreach ISP, Sky cannot use Virgin cable or other infrastructure.

Depending on the results of the Wholesale Checker which @cookiemonsteruk linked to above, Sky Broadband requires either an Openreach copper line and master socket or an Openreach optical cable and ONT.
