Ok have a specialist dosing pump linked to my marine aquarium, it has been connected happily until about 10-14 days ago and then went off line. It uses 2.4ghz networking, when I use the app to reconnect to the sky hub it is stating there is only 5ghz from the hub so will not connect. This pump is needed to dose specialist trace elements for the life of organisms in the tank. I am not the only person with this issue plus I noticed there are several complaints from completely different area that also can no longer connect to the sky hub so what have you supposedly upgraded to the detriment of users??

The release of a Hub firmware update appears to have caused issues with various internet-connected devices (including an aquarium pump), as detailed in these threads:
The most recent posts indicate the update is being rolled back, but this will take some time to happen across all of the millions of Sky Hubs in use nationally.
Note that the issue appears to relate to internet access rather than being a specific 2.4/5Ghz thing, but that's not proven.

Thanks, have you any idea when this may happen as with out the working part linked to the aquarium I potentially will lose a lot coral, if it's a case 'how longs a piece of string' then I will just have to purchase a new pump of a brand that is working which seems a waste of money when the one I had worked perfectly up until this issue?

@Chrisee thanks for taking the time, out of interest I noticed someone went into the hub and split the 2.4ghz & 5ghz bands would this be worth doing or will that not make any difference
