Cut Off Date Avoid Current Year Increase.

Most Broadband companies have a cut of date when current year increase announced does not apply, BT group and Vodfone 1 March 1st for examplae, Virgin advertisting next increase is not until 2027 for new sign ups.

Thinking of signing up to Sky Broadband as a new customer, what date of signup will avoid already announced price increase  for 2026.

Re: Cut Off Date Avoid Current Year Increase.

@cooldude66 As an example i signed up 5th Mar 2025 with the price increase due to go live on 1st April 2025, so had no problems to pay the advertised amount and the CS Agent adjusted so that what was done would be the advertised payment no surprise increase a couple weeks later! Due again shortly though and at least sky does seem to have there act together for this up and coming one!

Apparently Sky offers what they call '60 day price protection' in these circumstances.
