Consistent broadband issues.

We have been with sky for 18 years. Abiut a year ago we started having issues with our broadband seriously weak signal, can't upload anything as to slow, not even a photo to Facebook. Connection drops constantly, or says connected without Internet. Sometimes no broadband for days on end. I've emailed multiple times, never had a reply. I've tried ringing a few times, just all automated and no help. The virtual assistant is a joke. I've never managed to speak to a human being. I've tried upgrading my broadband online. Everytime I get to place order it states "technical issue, please try again". This is an absolute joke. I've done all the online help tips hundreds of times now. Sometimes it says there's a problem, can be fixed on there end and no technician needed, sometimes it says its my end, just reboot router. Most of the time it says everything is fine and my speeds are good but they aren't when I use an independent checker. It's becoming an absolute joke. Any ideas on what I can do.
