I have recently upgraded wifi and i have external sockets requiring a 2.4Ghz connection but I can't find how I do this. They are BG electric external sockets. I've been told to turn off 5g to connect but don't know how to do this. Csn you help?

@Fionti67 in the same area as you used to change the security there is a link labelled disable WiFi go into that and temporarily disable the 5GHz band and save the change. Once the hub restarts then try to conect the smart sockets using the app. Once connected go back into the My Sky app and turn the 5GHz band back on and the smart devices should stay connected.

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.
You can use the same settings to temporarily disable the 5Ghz WiFi band: remember to re-enable it afterwards if you do this.

Thank you. I will have to go through my sky app properly later as I can't find any reference to hub.

Ok so I switched over to WPA 2, reconnected my phone but I am still seeing a message from my old device app saying g I am conne ted to 5G. Ant further advice please?
