Connecting 4 th mini box to sky broadband by Ethernet but through a switch

I have FTTP Sky broadband 500 Meg which works ok

there is currently 3 q mini boxes which work ok on the WiFi

I now want add a 4 th mini box which will have to connect via Ethernet cable direct to the Sky broadband router

the cable will though have run through a switch

could someone advise me please if I use a managed switch for future use if it will cause problems and what sort

or is it so much simpler just to use an unmanaged switch

An unmanaged switch is preferable for Q.
