Compensation

Hi, I am due compensation this week from sky regarding the issues i had i spoke to someone yesterday and they informed me that i would oy get this as a credit to my account. Therefore i phoned ofcom who sky deal with also and i was told this is untrue this compensation can be put on as a credit to my account or i can get a back transfer or sent out a cheque.

@Shauny67  Any Auto Compensation is added as a credit twards your broadband bill, Sky won't transfer to your bank or  send a cheque, this would only happen if you left Sky and a credit was still showing on your account.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

What broadband issues did the compensation relate to?

 

My understanding is that OfCom rules state it will remain on your bill as a credit unless you agree otherwise at the time.

@GD1 Sky can and should transfer the credit if requested by the customer to their bank account, that is stipulated in the Ofcom rules.

 

@Shauny67 You have every right to request it be paid in to your bank account.

A got an email Thursday saying it would credit my account. I when phoned and was told it can actually be transferred so they said it's sent it will be in my bank in 3-5 working days.
