City Fibre Down
The service light on the City Fibre box is out. Have contacted City Fibre but hey have just told me to contact my broadband provider.

That's correct: in this case Sky is the ISP and CityFibre is the network maintainer, so faults are logged with Sky for CityFibre attention.
The same would be the case for Sky broadband over an Openreach circuit.
