Can't update apps or watch youtube

I all of a sudden can't update any apps on my phone (android device) and youtube takes an age to load videos!only happens when connected to the WiFi but all other apps work perfectly fine like tiktok,Facebook etc!

Have you tried rebooting your broadband hub at the mains ?

Yes I've done all of those checks!started it only does it when try to update apps and also watch youtube!every other app works fine.if I turn the WiFi off all works fine.

This has started happening to me too last few days. Just android phone. Videos won't load and buffer and Google play apps can't install. 

I am on a deco mesh but since moving to sky full fibre I'm always having issues with speed drops to the point I'm getting 430kbs on a 500mbit FF line around 2pm for an hour now this. The sky broadband checker says everything is fine but it's never is.

I've switched broadband shield off and still no joy but if I use a VPN it works fine so clearan issue.

@J-ALLEN there have been previous reports of issues updating apps on Android devices over a Sky connection which was linked to an issue at Sky's end. I am escalating your postI am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

I tried not using my mesh and use the sky router WiFi. Same issue.
