No Internet

There is a break in the internet every time we are watching something.

Mainly on I Player on any of the channels when watching play backs.

The phone connection is not working and we believe this may be because Open Reach were in the close neighbourhood in the last couple of weeks and may have disturbed our phone connection.

The pole that the phone lines are connected to is outside our house but haven,t had any added lines to our property.

Since they did this we have lost our phone connection and no internet.

Please help us we are pensioners and not very savvy with computers etc so not able to help ourselves on this matter??

Kind Regards Mr M and Mrs J Lang

@Lyndene

The first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.
