Can someone detect technical issue from logs? connection drops too much

Taeho_0-1716464535376.png

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Connection drops too often and too long (usually a couple hours until it recovers)
I restarted the router, after  30 seconds power off, reconnected cable
The above is the log from the router. DSL link down - it means the external connection is down, right?

It happens so often that openreach engineers visited twice but found no problems
I started the 2-year contract just 6 months ago, I wish I could terminate  the service

Can anyone help what I can do? any techincal stuff I can try? please help me

Thanks. I keep trying to restart the router so it wouldn't have much information.
I do this for 2 hours then it comes back usually - it's been 4  times in this month

@Taeho

Yeah the router stats are useless if your connection is down at the time.

It is odd you've had Openreach round and they havent found any issues. Is your hub connected directly to your master telephone socket using a microfilter?

Re: Can someone detect technical issue from logs? connection drops too much

Yes master  socket  5c openreach - it's always connected there, I sometimes try to reconnect the cable when it's gone

Openreach engineers visited but at that times the connection was fine. So they just check general stuff, reset the connection, and goes back

Usually this kind of total drop lasts for 2-3 hours until it comes back, and it's happening twice today - it's gone again now. 😞

Maybe I can upload another screenshot when its come back, for you to see other information?

@Taeho

Is it related to anything like weather? Perhaps happens when it rains?
