I'm in the last month of my broadband contract and considering a move to Sky. I'd like to move on the day that my current contract finishes to avoid any loose ends.
I'm not sure of the lead time for starting a new contract, is there an option when you apply to choose a start date?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Royzee if you order over 14 days ahead it maybe possible but given activations are done by Openreach not Sky its their availability thst matters. Of course if moving from one ISP using Openreach to Sky is seamless if arranged through Sky who will then handle the cancellation with your existing supplier to coincide with say an hours downtime. If switching networks say from Virgin to Sky it is wise to pay for an overlap of a week or so as dates slip and things gonwrong.
