While watching the Sky tv the WiFi was lost and the broadband had gone down . Tried the test but they were not able to connect. Tried power off / on , which made no difference . The router was showing 2 amber lights and two green .
what caused this Sky team ?

1 You're not talking to Sky, and they won't give a direct response either.
2 the 10th October is in the future as no one can predict the future??? ( I presume you meant the 1st Oct?)
If there was an outage as there can be at times then this would obviously affect Glass/Stream also as it relies on your broadband connection.
It would not affect Sky+/Sky Q as that relies on satellite for live TV.
Maintenance or faults are the common causes of downtime.

The 'Sky team' doesn't respond here, and I doubt their telephone support would have any information unless your address was part of a much wider area outage.
Domestic broadband has no service level agreement, no guarantee of availability and (unless you choose to pay extra to use an ISP with cellular failover) no redundant pathway for data delivery.
