Building work
Finally have a date for house building / renovation
Will need the broadband cable / entry point disconnected / moved and reconnected as this is in rear wall of house which will be involved - but not entirely clear on timeframes
seems impossible to find contact details for Sky / Openreach to communicate this so any help appreciated

There's likely to be a charge for such work.
As long as your services aren’t not restricted due to a failed payment these are the current methods for contacting Sky (and depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …
🟩 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or easier still your Sky Talk landline. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers. Other official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are normally inclusive from non Sky phones.
All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.
🟩 Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
🟩 Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).

I don't have a sky mobile or talk package so 150 puts me in touch with my mobile provider
Both the help links send me to the same place and don't help resolve the issue - just get stuck in circular suggestions as none of the options is suitable for what I need
have message skyhelp on X several times with no response

You do have Sky Talk as its bundled with Sky Broadband, you've just chosen not to have a landline handset connected to it.
Calls to the 03 number from other mobile networks are usually inclusive the same as dialling 01 and 02 geographical numbers but check with your provider.
