Is this call genuine??
Number starting in 333 then 443 ending in 9830 Keeps calling me. Finally answered and the guy knew my first name. Said sky are offering a upgrade on broadband for free, if interested can I have your full name and address. I did give it to
him then noticed that it sounded like he was outside. He asked for my password and mothers maiden name so i hung up. Doesnt seem genuine

@ABJ29 Skydo make outbound calls offering upgrades tonfull fibre from the oldercpartial fibre services asking for your phone password is standard and they can offerxa hint like its your mother's maiden name. However scammers know this and can easily spoof a genuine Sky number which do frequently start 0333 so there are no ways of knowing 100%.
One suggestion iscto purposely givecthe incorrect password which a scammer is likely to accept while a genuine Sky agent would not.
One other idea is to go into the My Sky app or website and seeing if an upgrade is offered there.
