Broadband speed

I have sky glass. Im supposedly on superfast broadband. I am fed up with programs failing to load. Buffering. Picture freezing while the soundtrack continues etc.  I've done the speed checker and it says I have a problem. Speed to hub is 3.5mbs..... this seems slow....is it?

I am no expert but it looks like you have a line issue DS2 and DS3 have 0.0 noise margin which is not right

@davetherave73

@blasteranster i concur . With the ds1 and ds2 line attenuations been so far apart under normal circumstances you'd expect the ds2 to be around 55db and at least get some sort of speed and bring ds2 noise margin into play.  However if ds1 line attenuation is correct then ds3 line attenuation and noise margin would not produce any speed whatsoever

Best thing @davetherave73 is to call sky on 150 from your sky landline and ask them to run a line test

@davetherave73

You could run tests from your my sky app and if it detects an external fault may give you the option of booking an engineer

@blasteranster some people have service checker between the pinned posts and the main forum posts but not everyone 👍
