Broadband speed of another plan

Recently we got the Sky superfast which is supposed to have an average speed of 61mb/s and a minimum of 55mb/s. As I tested multiple times even with an ethernet cable I get exactly 36mb/s (the speed of another plan). Has anyone else encountered this problem? For me it seems like Sky mixed the plans and somehow turned on the wrong one for me...

@Gust   Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

Your router stats will be the most accurate speed and will show the forum any issues, if any.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Broadband speed of another plan

There are two superfast plans, and therefore line profiles of your line cannot meet the minimum speed it may have been set at 40

As @mormegil says there are two options that can be provisioned, up to 40 Mbps and upto 80 Mbps.

Unfortunately if your minimum speed isn't around 60 Mbps, Sky will provision you on the 40 Mbps option. I know it's a bit of a pain because I was in the same position when I moved 7 years ago but fortunately FTTP arrived in my area 3 years ago.
