@Otoole you can check the speed your hub is connected to the exchange by running the service checker and clicking on the broadband test. If thst is below tge guaranteed speed for your line the app should offer to book an engineer if it doesnt call Sky.
However it is quite likely that the speed to the hub is normal.in which case the issue is within your home abd typically is a poor WiFi connection between the hub and your device. Slow wifi is very common problem as every home poses different problems due to the layout and even how it is built. The strongest WiFi signal will be next to useless if it has to pass through multiple brick walls and will be totally blocked by any metal. This means in many homes tou need multiple wifi access points which can come as part of Sky's add-on Wifi Max package https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or like many people do you can buy your own kit.
