Broadband engineer

Hi , I had an appointment booked to have my broadband upgraded for tomorrow, I have taken the day off work and have just received a message to advise the appointment has been rescheduled to 1/10/24 I want to keep my original date tomorrow

That's not possible if the required resources (personnel, equipment or bureaucratic, typically from Openreach) aren't available.
