Broadband has lost connection multiple times today. This has been happening ever since we switched to SKY, not a problem when with BT. Seem to have a few days maybe a week with no problems then days of problems. It is a full fibre connection. According to the router logs it seems to be a licence not renewing issue. Does anyone know of a fix?

Moved the router so I could use the supplied cable for ONT to Router, its been running OK now for two weeks. Don't understand why using a longer cable makes a difference, I used several different new cables so don't think there was a fault with these other cables. Anyway fingers crossed.

Thanks, Think the ONT is OK, no problems before switching to sky. Will try swi5ching cables and report back.

Just found the ONT was not connected to the WAN port on the router. Have now connected up properly, will see how it goes. Probably my fault when I moved the router into the loft so I could get a wireless signal into more of the bungalow, one of the joys of having an old property with solid walls, not wireless friendly.

@jamesn123 Hi - i keep loosing my wifi. My hub is working and my ipad still gets wifi, but my iphone cant. when i try to connect to my sky account, it keeps telling me my password is incorrect. I know it is not as otherwise why would my ipad still be connected and my TV?
now my tv connection is lost and i have to use terrestrial only.
i phone them but they always give me same advice about pressing the wps on the router etc. I'm going round in circles.

Looking through other posts lease renewells seem to have been a problem for years. No one ever seems to give any idea of how the problem is solved, is there some sort of NDA to stop people giving a fix? Certainly won't be renewing with Sky Broadband if this continues.
