Sky broadband failed a week ago, Sunday 7th April. The service checker eventually noted an local outage. I booked an engineer visit, but nobody showed up. A week later and nothing has been rectified. A complaint email simply says that the engineers are aware of the problem, and are working on it. Impossible to find any other updates, but would love to know what is happening!

The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when the fault is first reported to Sky, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (new rates from 01/04/24).

We been off mince that date too still off now. 12 days later. Booked us a open reach engineer, who never arrived. Sky told us there had been a RTA into a post somewhere in Crewe that has bought the lot down. Still doesn't help us with no sky glass TV, no internet no phone. Wish I had stuck with the dish.
anyone know when it will be back on because to me they just don't give a toss.
Amo.
