Our box is plugged in but is not receiving power or turning on

Plug the box into a different power socket, preferably on another floor of the house to confirm the problem (perhaps also try a lamp in the original socket)
If that proves it's the Hub or Hub power supply which has failed then you'll need to.log a fault with Sky and wait for a replacement to be shipped to you: realistically that's not going to arrive for a few days.
