Broadband booster

Recently had a new hub but it doesn't want to connect to existing Sky booster, so middle Broadband green light isn't on, only Power and Wi-Fi lights are on. Do I need a new Booster?

Re: Broadband booster

Hi,

I'm hoping you can help as I have a similar problem.

I had Sky Q for a long time and added two Sky mini boxes. Because of the shape of my house, the engineer installed three boosters to get the signal to the mini's. When the engineer left I discovered it worked fine with just two extenders.

During the recent storm we lost power for 6 days and when the power returned I had a huge problem getting sky back up and running. I decided it was more difficult because we do not have Sky broadband so I decided to switch to Sky so that all the boxes were compatible and it would eliminate connection issues.

The Broadband is working great but when I switch on the boosters they do not connect to anything so the only way I can get my Sky Q fully working is with a very long ethernet cable from the router which is not a permanent solution.

I have tried to get help on whatsapp and messenger but it takes hours to get a response and they cannot seem to grasp my issue.

Basically, the Sky boosters should have a green power ligt, a green wifi light, then you press the WPS button to connect to the hub or Qbox to get the third green light.

The only light on all three Sky Boosters is the power light. The wifi light will not light up and consequently the WPS button will not flash.

I have tried resetting all three boosters many times .

Can anybody here help?
