No Internet. Urgent. Send engineer

Hiyaaa, I have no internet at home, it says the device is working, but it's preventing internet connection to it, I cannot respond to this as I have no data and I'm using WiFi at a wetherspoons Basically I was switching Mobile numbers for PayPal and it thought something was attacking the WiFi and disconnected everything attached to it, including my switch. I require an engineer as fast as possible or even just a tech wizard to fix things over on your end, everything is going so wrong

@JordanMcdonald  No engineer will be sent on the back of a community post from an unlinked account.

Posting is as urgent will not speed anything up eiother, the SLA for fixing your broadband if there is a fault, is 2 working days from when you report it, which you are not doing by posting here.

First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Look, I'm not here to get scalded, everything about the internet says it's fine, it's just not connecting to the phones and I can't get through to a person on the mobile as it redirects here

@JordanMcdonald
Calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Re: No Internet. Urgent. Send engineer

I require the method to report an issue to a person who can send out an engineer. Ofcourse it isn't here.

Not a method to test if my internet is functional. It is functional and everything checks green. It's not connecting to my phone or switch it's giving no internet/no connection to both devices

No one has scalded you, you've been advised the community can't send an engineer.  We are all customers helping other customers.

@JordanMcdonald You mention that "it thought something was attacking the WiFi and disconnected everything attached to it" what exactly gave that message or action? Was it your device, an anti virus program or something from Sky?

It would be news to us if the Max Hub has that capability (although Sky is remarkably secretive about what its 'advanced security' actually is).

The ONT looks fine: have you tried a reboot or reset of the Hub itself?
