Broadband Termination Fee

I had a Broadband Super fast upgrade recently.

It was cutting in and out repeatedly; so I contacted Sky ( a number of ways) and they came back with try this and that etc, but still problems

I signed onto My Sky a d checked my Broadband to find that " we see you have had a number of problems with the  connection and download speeds etc ....".  In reading what can be done one of the options was that I could terminate the contract with no Termination Fee due to Sky failing to provide a service as promised under their guaranteed minimum requirements.

I chose this, but received an email from Sky saying I would still owe around £500 in exit fees?                             I phoned Sky and was told by the Agent that this was wrong and their were none!  So do I believe the guy on the phone or the information from the email?.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@JPB180  Have you checked your billing online? Does this charge appear on there

Re: Broadband Termination Fee

@JPB180 Was there any mention off having sky look at it and see if they could have an Engineer look see / correct if they found a fault etc?
