Re: Broadband Keeps Dropping Out
Thanks Jim.
BT accepted me through their website onto a 900mb contract (guaranteed at 700mb min) and what looks like a Smarthub2 but there is nothing written on it. That and the range extended disc they sent are doing the job though so no complaints so far!

@DavidP253 Th BT Ones below, as long as it's not EE you are with that is all i am trying to find out! And if your disc's are all black then you have the complete wireless wifi, now it's all making sense to why your system on sky was not working!

Yep, it's SmartHub2 we have. I had a Sky range extended too though but it wasn't as good as this. As the the EE element, I bought through BT but they say that they are aligned/linked with EE although I didn't take the 4/5G backup option as I already have an EE mobile phone.

Re: Broadband Keeps Dropping Out
@DavidP253 Ok, the EE i had to ditch them back in Mar 2025 as they FW updated the EE Smarthub+ but when i left sky April 2024 BT was were i wanted to go and pushed down the EE route, and they have zero clue what they are doing in the slightest....
As you are all BT gear going to go with the fact you managed to get on them and NOT the EE side!
BT Smarthub2 and complete wireless wifi is a good combination, well used and been out there for years upon years although wifi5 it's still way good and speedy enough for most homes and does work well....
