Bosch EasyControl Thermostat

Hello can I ask the community has anyone had issues setting up a CT200 Bosch EasyControl Central Heating  Thermostat?

it cannot find the Sky Router at all . We have tried most the usual problem solving,

The Boiler is new installed yesterday, The installer gave up after a couple of frustrating hours. The Key card that inserts into the boiler seems to work but it can't connect to the thermostat until the thermostat connects with the WiFi
thank you all in advance

Merry Christmas

Re: Bosch EasyControl Thermostat

Just had a quick look and the manual says this:

The EasyControl supports open Wi-Fi connections and Wi-Fi connections encrypted with WEP 128, WPA and WPA2 protocols. WPA2 is the safest protocol and is therefore preferred.

If you have a newer white SR213, it works on the newer WPA3 so you'll need to reduce the router to WPA2 wifi for the Bosch to see it.

Re: Bosch EasyControl Thermostat

Did you manage to solve this as we're having the same problem. I've tried disabling the 5ghz channel but still won't connect to the WiFi

thanks

@jerant10 some of these IOT devices can be frustrating but if you have the white Sky hub try reducing the wifi security level from WPA3 -T to WPA2 in the Asvanced Settings for the hub in the My Sky app.

Disabling the 5GHz band will drastically affect the speed your other devices connect at and should only be done for the time required to connect a new device.
